In this paper, we use filters of an EQ-algebra E to induce a uniform structure (E, 𝓚), and then the part 𝓚 induce a uniform topology 𝒯 in E. We prove that the pair (E, 𝒯) is a topological EQ-algebra, and some properties of (E, 𝒯) are investigated. In particular, we show that (E, 𝒯) is a first-countable, zero-dimensional, disconnected and completely regular space. Finally, by using convergence of nets, the convergence of topological EQ-algebras is obtained.

If is a family of filters over some set I, a topological space X is sequencewise -compact if for every I-indexed sequence of elements of X there is such that the sequence has an F-limit point. Countable compactness, sequential compactness, initial κ-compactness, [λ; µ]-compactness, the Menger and Rothberger properties can all be expressed in terms of sequencewise -compactness for appropriate choices of . We show that sequencewise -compactness is preserved under taking products if and only if there is a filter such that sequencewise -compactness is equivalent to F-compactness. If this is the case, and there exists a sequencewise -compact T 1 topological space with more than one point, then F is necessarily an ultrafilter. The particular case of sequential compactness is analyzed in detail.

In BL-algebras we introduce the concept of generalized co-annihilators as a generalization of coannihilator and the set of the form x-1F where F is a filter, and study basic properties of generalized co-annihilators. We also introduce the notion of involutory filters relative to a filter F and prove that the set of all involutory filters relative to a filter with respect to the suit operations is a complete Boolean lattice and BL-algebra. We use the technology of generalized co-annihilators to give characterizations of prime filters and minimal prime filters, respectively. In particular, we give a representation of co-annihilators in the quotient algebra of a BL-algebra L via a filter F by means of generalized co-annihilators relative to F in L:

The concept of a deductive system has been intensively studied in algebraic logic, per se and in connection with various types of filters. In this paper we introduce an axiomatization which shows how several resembling theorems that had been separately proved for various algebras of logic can be given unique proofs within this axiomatic framework. We thus recapture theorems already known in the literature, as well as new ones. As a by-product we introduce the class of pre-BCK algebras.

We consider ideal equal convergence of a sequence of functions. This is a generalization of equal convergence introduced by Császár and Laczkovich [Császár Á., Laczkovich M., Discrete and equal convergence, Studia Sci. Math. Hungar., 1975, 10(3–4), 463–472]. Our definition of ideal equal convergence encompasses two different kinds of ideal equal convergence introduced in [Das P., Dutta S., Pal S.K., On and *-equal convergence and an Egoroff-type theorem, Mat. Vesnik, 2014, 66(2), 165–177]_and [Filipów R., Szuca P., Three kinds of convergence and the associated I-Baire classes, J. Math. Anal. Appl., 2012, 391(1), 1–9]. We also solve a few problems posed in the paper by Das, Dutta and Pal.
