The book "A Beautiful Soul: Mathematician of the God" allows us to look at the past for a moment and, at least, brings us closer to the relationship between science and faith. The book describes the figure of Maria Gaetana Agnesi. She is commonly known as the author of one of the first integral calculus textbooks."Analytical Institutions for the Use of Italian Youth". Her name is called a crater on the moon and a comet. The curve witch of Agnesi takes its name from her name. We present a review of a book containing many facts from the mathematician's life. We will answer the question whether she really was a beautiful soul. Or maybe a beautiful mind? Or maybe she combined those two?
