Eustachy Żyliński (1889-1954)

Eustachy Żyliński was a Polish mathematician, working in number theory, algebra, logic and foundations of mathematics. He has written over 20 scientific papers and 6 text-books. In the period 1919-1939 he was working at the University of Jan Kazimierz in Lwów and was a memeber of the so-called Lwów School of Mathematics. After the war, in the period 1946-1951, he was working at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.
