Embedding Cohen algebras using pcf theory

Using a theorem from pcf theory, we show that for any singular cardinal ν, the product of the Cohen forcing notions on κ, κ < ν, adds a generic for the Cohen forcing notion on ${\displaystyle {\nu }^{+}}$.
